The Giclée reproduction is of my original artworks, resulting in the highest quality fine-art Giclée prints. Giclée, is used to describe a fine art digital printing process combining pigment based inks with the highest quality acid free papers to achieve prints of superior archival quality, light fastness and stability.
 
The origional oil painting is 24 x 36inch
I was inspired by the old lifeboats at a classic Regatta. They seemed to be moored up and waiting for an impending storm when they could come out of retirement and be called on to help a ship in distress. The flag bunting on the top of the masts is just starting to wave in the breeze as the black cloud is encroaching. I tried to capture the intense blinding bright sunlight that appears when black clouds are looming. Also the stillness, the Lull before the Storm.

The print is 30 x 40cm and will be posted out flat.
